The Interdisciplinary Insights: The Journal of Saint Leo University’s College of Education and Social Service is dedicated to original inquiries in education and social services.
The purpose of the Saint Leo University’s College of Education and Social Services refereed international interdisciplinary social services journal is to provide a published forum for the dissemination of applied primary and secondary literature as well as applied and practical interdisciplinary and discipline specific approaches which will enable scholars, practitioners, and policy makers to expand their knowledge and remain current in their field of study or discipline.
Therefore, the Interdisciplinary Insights: The Journal of Saint Leo University’s College of Education and Social Service welcomes scholarly writing on criminal justice, education, human services, social work and related fields, from differing conceptual, methodological, and substantive approaches. Four kinds of papers are especially encouraged:
- Research reports addressing important topics and issues
- Scholarly writing of other varieties—for example, theoretical statements and philosophical arguments
- Critical syntheses of a field within education and social services
- Integrations of scholarship, policy, and practice.
